Bennett Brien

Bennett Brien, an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians has been creating awesome art from a young age, with a strong focus on his Metis heritage. During his years at UND Grand Forks, ND, where he studied art, he was asked to design a sports logo. He came up with the extremely famous Fighting Souix logo. He has created a number of rebar sculptures representing the buffalo, horses, eagles and turtles, which can be seen on the Capital grounds in Bismarck, ND, Sky Dancer Casino, UND campus, Grand Forks ND, MSU Minot, ND.
